Story
In Theog, Himachal Pradesh, Parthiban (Thalapathy Vijay) owns and operates a café. He resides with his wife Satya (Trisha) and their two kids as a typical family man. A couple thugs break into Parthiban’s cafe one day, threatening to kill both his daughter and a cafe employee.
Parthiban kills the thugs because he has no other choice, which puts his family in danger. Gangsters Antony Das (Sanjay Dutt) and Harold Das (Arjun) enter Parthiban’s life during all of this drama, and they mistakenly think Parthiban is their relative, Leo Das (Thalapathy Vijay). Who is this Leo Das exactly? What became of him? How could Parthiban escape the chaos that surrounded them? The remainder of the movie revolves around this.
Review
The first part of the movie is largely interesting. Here, the tempo is purposefully kept slow. We are introduced to the Parthiban universe through the hyena scene and the subsequent family drama. The process is not hurried in the slightest. The goal was to neatly establish the characters and the protagonist’s setting. The battle scene in the cafe is the high point of the film.
Because Vijay’s vulnerability is so effectively shown, the action scenes in the first hour are extremely satisfying. In addition to being a celebrity, Vijay is a talented actor. Leo expertly displays Thalapathy Vijay’s acting prowess. The first half’s fight scenes are expertly choreographed, and Vijay’s performance and skillfully written action sequences keep the action moving.
The halftime block does a good job of setting the stage for the second half. Leo features some really strong action scenes with well-chosen cinematography. Trisha does well in her position.
